Eliana Adelynn “Ellie” Holland, age 11, of Jefferson City, Missouri, passed away on Friday, May 8, 2026, leaving behind a grieving family, devastated classmates, teammates, teachers, neighbors, and an entire community struggling to comprehend the loss of a little girl whose warmth and vibrant personality brought light wherever she went.

Born on November 12, 2014, in Jefferson City, Ellie was the cherished daughter of Theresa Jean Miloro and Joseph Walter Holland. Though her years were few, the impact she made on the lives around her was immeasurable. Family members say Ellie possessed a rare combination of energy, compassion, humor, and creativity that made her unforgettable to everyone fortunate enough to know her.

Ellie was a fifth-grade student at Trinity Lutheran School, where she was known not only for her lively personality but also for her honesty, kindness, and ability to make others feel included. Friends and classmates remember her as someone who never hesitated to speak her mind, laugh loudly, or offer friendship to someone in need. Teachers admired her spirited nature and the joy she carried into classrooms and school activities each day.

Outside of school, Ellie found happiness on the ice. She proudly skated with the Capital Classics Synchronized Skating Team as a member of the Aspire 3 team, dedicating herself to a sport she deeply loved. Those who watched her skate saw more than athletic talent — they saw confidence, determination, teamwork, and genuine excitement. Ice skating became one of the many ways Ellie expressed her fearless and adventurous personality.

Her family says Ellie approached life with boundless curiosity and imagination. Art was one of her greatest passions, especially projects that allowed her creativity to shine. She loved decorating colorful fingernails with glitter, stamps, and elaborate designs, often turning ordinary moments into playful masterpieces. Her collection of plastic ducks became another signature part of her personality, with Ellie frequently sharing them with others simply to brighten their day and make people smile.

She also had an extraordinary tenderness toward both people and animals. Ellie adored snakes, turtles, fish, dogs, and nearly every creature she encountered. Whether caring for pets, nurturing plants, or spending time outdoors, she embraced the world around her with fascination and love. Visitation for Ellie Holland will be held Wednesday, May 13, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Freeman Mortuary, with funeral services to follow immediately in the Freeman Chapel.
